MEET THE TEAM

Ian Donnan
Ian is the Chair of the charity. He line manages the foodbank, ensuring a smooth running of the day to day operations. In his spare time, Ian can often be found rustling up a culinary delight in the kitchen!

Neil Bishop
Neil is responsible for overseeing the finances for the charity, having been an accountant for over 40 years! In his spare time, Neil enjoys playing guitar and drinking coffee. Neil is always looking for the next opportunity for AOK to serve the Redditch community.

Caroline Baker
Caroline is a trustee for AOK. She is a team leader in the Foodbank and always goes the extra mile to support her clients. Caroline is the Safeguarding Lead at AOK and can be contacted directly if anyone has any concerns.

Richard Sturdey
Richard is a trustee at AOK and plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the foodbank warehouse. He ensures food is dated correctly, transported safely, and is ready in time for client visits. With a background as a Head Teacher, Richard brings valuable experience and strong leadership to the team.

Rev. Robin Baker
Rev Robin Baker is the founder of AOK. Robin has a big heart for the community and also serves as the Senior Minister at Oasis Christian Centre, where he has pastored with his wife Esther since 9th April 2000. In his spare time, you'll likely find him outside in the garden, or playing with his young grandson.

Dan
Dan is a volunteer at Redditch Foodbank, where he helps to run a shift. Dan also helps with volunteer training, ensuring everyone is up to date with their e-learning modules. His support is a big part of what keeps the foodbank running day to day.

Nancy Deakin
Nancy oversees the Wellbeing Project at Acts of Kindness, and is responsible for networking with our partners to respond to the needs of the local community. Nancy is a qualified secondary teacher with 3 boys. She enjoys afternoon walks and swimming with her family.

Carrie Putt
Carrie works for AOK as part of their Financial Inclusion Wellbeing Service. She is based at Redditch Foodbank and heads up the weekly craft group at No24. When not working, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, making memories! Carrie is always happy to sit down over a cuppa for a chat.

Lottie
Lottie works for The Project, and is based at Redditch Foodbank. She helps people to manage their finances and maximise their household income. If you need any support with applying for benefits, such as UC or PIP, Lottie is the go-to person!

Emma Marshall
Emma works for Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and heads up the CAP Debt Centre in Redditch and Bromsgrove. She is also based at Number 24 Church Green East. Emma is a passionate community advocate, proud mum, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help her clients.
